Workspace

• Full-time role with rotating morning and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Based primarily on the road with warehouse support duties when required.
• Physical role requiring lifting, loading, and manual handling of goods.
• Expected to be available for urgent deliveries or operational requirements.

About the Role

Delivery & Logistics
• Execute deliveries from the warehouse to outlets, ensuring all products are transported safely and on time.
• Load, unload, and handle goods with care, following food safety and hygiene standards.
• Verify delivery notes and ensure accuracy of orders delivered to each outlet.
• Assist with warehouse stock movement and basic store maintenance as required.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and report any issues promptly.

Vehicle & Equipment Care
• Ensure daily checks of company vehicles (fuel, oil, tyres, cleanliness, safety equipment).
• Wash and clean the vehicle regularly to maintain brand image.
• Report any maintenance or mechanical issues immediately to the Logistics Manager.
• Comply with road safety regulations and company transport policies at all times.

Operational Support
• Support warehouse operations when not on delivery duty (loading/unloading, stock counts, organisation of goods).
• Assist shop teams where needed during peak delivery schedules.
• Work flexible shifts including nights, mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required by operations.

Compliance & Standards
• Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety protocols during handling and transportation.
• Ensure goods are kept at correct temperatures and conditions during transport.
• Represent the Sottozero brand in a professional manner when dealing with staff, customers, and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Valid and clean driving licence (Category B minimum; higher categories an advantage).

  • Previous experience as a delivery driver in food & beverage or logistics preferred.

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight schedules.

  • Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting and loading.

  • Knowledge of safe food handling and basic HACCP practices an advantage.

  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive with a strong work ethic.

  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

  • Basic record-keeping and communication skills.
